Cheyenne Mountain Resort opened in 1985 and sits on 25 acres of land. The 4-Star Full Service property is nestled in the lush greens of Southern Colorado Springs and oversees Impressive mountain views, along with exciting activities like golf, swimming, and tennis. These allow for the unique experience that you can only get at this resort.
Hourly Rate: $18.02 plus service charge
The Events Houseperson is responsible for setting up and breaking down all meeting spaces with tables, chairs, water, etc. and ensuring client specifications are met regarding room set up and general requests from the team. Maintaining a positive attitude and professional work ethic is important while interacting with guests and everyday job duties. This is a fast-paced position.

Qualifications
Position Responsibilities
- Setting up and breaking down materials, transporting supplies or anything in between, the Events Houseperson plays a key role in making our events run flawlessly.
- No matter what position you are in, there are a few things that are critical to success - creating a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional.
- Event Houseperson will be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time) and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance).
Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift 10-50lbs. consistently throughout the duration of the shift.
- Ability to pull and push anywhere from 100lbs.-400lbs. of equipment from location to location (With other team members).
- Previous event set up experience preferred, but not required. TEAM IS WILLING TO TRAIN!
- Open availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Refined verbal and written communication skills.
