About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Center Revenue Cycle Coordinator to join our team at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. This key role will be responsible for coordinating the revenue cycle process, ensuring that patients receive accurate and timely billing information and that the hospital receives timely payments from payers.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, as well as three or more years of experience in patient finance, insurance benefits, and financial assistance programs in a healthcare setting. They will also possess advanced knowledge of health insurance options and public benefits, including Medicaid, Medicare, Health Insurance Marketplace, SNAP, WIC, SSI, and SSDI.
This role requires excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills, with the ability to listen to consumer needs and provide guidance on eligibility screening and application processes. The successful candidate will also have a high level of initiative and be able to work collaboratively with a wide variety of community organizations and individuals.
