A Day in the Life of a Medical Imaging Manager:
This position develops, implements, and directs the daily functioning and staffing needs of all modalities/sections within the Medical Imaging Department of Cheyenne Regional Healthcare System under the guidance and direction of the Director of Medical Imaging Services. This position works collaboratively with the Practice Managers, Clinical Care Coordinators, Lead Technologists, and Technologists in each modality including all campuses and Practices which have imaging services achieving desired outcomes through coordination of patient care with the effective use of personnel, equipment, supplies and effective workflow processes.
What You Will Do:
Ensures that health system resources (staff, equipment, supplies) are utilized in a manner that optimizes effectiveness while maintaining cost containment and minimizing waste.
Assists director with development of Capital and Operating Budgets.
Acts as liaison between staff and physicians to promote collaborative relationships.
Keeps the Director and Practice Manager, as applicable, informed on all matters pertinent to the operation of Medical Imaging services at all campuses and practices with imaging services.
Assists Director with the operations of Medical Imaging Service Line, including staffing requirements/scheduling, hiring, orientation, educational needs, performance evaluations of staff and improvements in patient, staff and physician satisfaction.
Maintains a positive work environment by demonstrating positive interpersonal relations with co-workers, physicians, patients and others.
Maintains standards on equipment for accrediting by state and/or federal agencies.
Ensures that all preventive maintenance occurs as scheduled; provides leadership with information regarding all equipment failures.
Works with hospital administration on planning, organizing, and directing Imaging Services operations and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Provides operational leadership and has budget responsibilities. Adheres to established leadership competencies, service standards and reinforces excellence in those standards with subordinates.

What You Will Need:
Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• And, ARRT registry in Radiologic Technology or other modality
• And, Five (5) years Radiologic Technologist experience
• And, Cheyenne Regional AHA RQI within 14 calendar days of start date
OR
Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing
• And, Wyoming Registered Nurse License or enhanced Nurse Licensure (eNLC) prior to start date
• And, Five (5) or more years of nursing experience in Medical Imaging
• And, Cheyenne Regional AHA RQO within 14 calendar days of start date
