Tele / Stepdown RN position at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center
Thirteen week assignment
Ideal location near hiking and outdoor activities
Experience with pre / post heart patients required
Job Requirements
BLS required
ACLS required
NIHSS preferred
Permanent address must be at least 25 miles from the facility location
Experience with stents, pacemakers, ICDs, pre / post CABG, pre / post vascular experience
Schedule Information
12 hour shifts from 6 : 45 AM to 6 : 45 PM
Block scheduling allowed, more common on nights
Self-scheduling allowed
Weekend requirements : Every other or 4 weekend shifts a month
Holiday rotation : every other holiday for 6 main holidays
Unit Specific Information
Monitor techs on the unit handle monitoring and documentation
Charge nurse does not take patients during the day shift
Nurse aides on unit with ratios of 1 : 8 on days and 1 : 12 on nights
Unit / Department Specific Orientation : 2-3 shifts
Scrub color : Navy Blue
Additional Details
All paperwork due Wednesday at noon MST the week before start
Nurse to patient ratios : 1 : 4 days and 1 : 4-5 nights
Common diagnoses : pre / post cardiac procedures, heart cath, CABGs, NSTEMI
