What are the responsibilities and job description for the Central Supply Aide position at Cheyenne Regional?
Day in the life of a Central Supply Aide:
The Central Supply Aide is responsible for stocking of all nursing units and clinics, assists in the cleaning and sterilization of instruments and equipment, maintaining timely input of information for inventory.

Here is what you will be doing:
- Collects dirty instruments, trays, basins, etc. from the nursing units. Decontaminates all soiled equipment and return to storage room for future use. Delivers processed sterile instruments and trays to the nursing units. Ensures that all supply carts are kept clean, neat and in order at all times.
- Performs bed checks and wound VAC checks
- Issues and delivers supplies and equipment as orders come in.
- Pulls Pyxis refill report and restock Pyxis supply stations.
- Restocks as stock outs occur. Verifies items placed in each station to ensure correct item is in correct bin. Checks for expiration dates. Verifies with Inventory Coordinator accuracy of replenishment from Stores, unload cart and place supplies on CS shelves, and excess supplies placed neatly in back hall. Checks IV solutions, IV tubing, syringes and restock. Makes Heart Admit Kits; check Dressing Trays and Open Heart Dressing Kits.
- Orders lab supplies as needed.
- Scans supply shelves according to established schedule.
- Fills replenishment lists created in MS4. Confirms replenishment lists in MS4.

- High school diploma (or Equivalent Certificate from an accredited program) or higher degree
