The candidate will support the Admissions office of Cheyney University to ensure data processing, entry, and organization are maintained. The position will assist in achieving the admission goals for the university.
- Process the materials for the office of admission with automation and increased efficiency as targets. Document processes in partnership with the Operations Improvement Director and ensure process sustainability
- Provide data processing (application, credentials, inquiries, and visits) and phone backup.
- Organize, manage, and coordinate the billing system for admissions
- Coordinate all general admission office emails.
- Develop and maintain the admission office procedure manual for inquiry and application data entry.
- Perform data processing of all inquiries and credentials in admission software.
- Correct status and data processing problems within the admission software system.
- Eliminate double ID's.
- Coordinate the data processing of inquiries into the admissions funnel
- Upload all name buys, high school and college fair spreadsheets including transcripts
- Upload ACT and SAT test scores.
- Assist with the campus visit coordination and tour process as needed.
- Perform additional duties as required especially as a part of Banner integration
Requirements
- Associates degree. Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Data entry experience required.
- Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information,
