Banquet Server Key Responsibilities:
- Set up for events by arranging tables, chairs, table linens, table settings, and décor to ensure the event space is presented according to specifications.
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with any initial inquiries.
- Serve all food and beverages to guests efficiently and accurately, following proper service etiquette.
- Review banquet event order, attend staff briefing, & maintain a knowledge of the event specifications to offer relevant & knowledgeable service at the events
- Ensure that any guests' dietary restrictions and allergies are accounted for and communicated
- Monitor tables and guests' needs throughout service, providing prompt and attentive service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Clear tables throughout the dining experience using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware, and silverware.
- Carrying banquet trays to effectively serve & clear guests
- Assist in the breakdown of the event, including cleaning tables, returning equipment to designated areas, and ensuring the venue is left clean and organized.
- Handle guest queries and concerns professionally and courteously
- Work well with others & collaborate with other team members to facilitate a smooth flow of service and a positive guest experience.
We're also hiring Banquet Captains!
- Responsible for assisting in the directing of other team members, communicating with event manager & kitchen, as well as the general flow of service
- Assist the Event Manager in set-up planning, inventories, & general facility upkeep

Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry items such as small pieces of furniture, trays of dishes, and glassware safely and comfortably.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is an advantage but not necessary.
- Banquet Captain - Must have prior banquet service experience and/or supervisory experience in customer service related field & willingness to learn!

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
