We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Assistant Operations/Event Manager to support the day-to-day operations across multiple facets of our business. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional looking to expand their knowledge and expertise in restaurant operations, banquet management, and event coordination. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in restaurant service, event execution, and customer relations while being eager to grow within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing the daily operations of various business arms, including storefront, catering, restaurant, and banquet services.
- Support event planning and execution, ensuring seamless coordination between departments for successful service delivery.
- Provide hands-on leadership during events, overseeing setup, service, and breakdown to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Supervise and assist staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company standards.
- Assist with inventory management, procuring supplies, and maintaining operational efficiency.
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with management to implement policies, improve workflow, and enhance overall guest experience.
- Work weekends and flexible hours based on business needs.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in restaurant operations, banquet/event management, or a related hospitality role.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, event logistics, and customer service best practices.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Weekend availability is required; flexible schedule preferred.
- ServSafe or equivalent food handling certification is a plus.
