We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Assistant Operations/Event Manager to support the day-to-day operations across multiple facets of our business. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional looking to expand their knowledge and expertise in restaurant operations, banquet management, and event coordination. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in restaurant service, event execution, and customer relations while being eager to grow within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing the daily operations of various business arms, including storefront, catering, restaurant, and banquet services.
  • Support event planning and execution, ensuring seamless coordination between departments for successful service delivery.
  • Provide hands-on leadership during events, overseeing setup, service, and breakdown to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Supervise and assist staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company standards.
  • Assist with inventory management, procuring supplies, and maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to implement policies, improve workflow, and enhance overall guest experience.
  • Work weekends and flexible hours based on business needs.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in restaurant operations, banquet/event management, or a related hospitality role.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, event logistics, and customer service best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
  • Weekend availability is required; flexible schedule preferred.
  • ServSafe or equivalent food handling certification is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift

Ability to Relocate:

  • Springfield, MA 01103: Relocate before starting work (Required)
