Associate Designer

We have an immediate opening in the Bed/Bath Division for an Associate Designer in our Irvington, NY office. This will be a hybrid role with 2-3 days in the office. The prospective candidate must be w

ell organized, detail-oriented and have a strong proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator. Degree in Textile Surface Design preferred. Salary is negotiable with 1-3 years design related experience.

Design

• Collaborate with and assist Design Team on creating original and saleable designs across multiple product categories for Soft Home: bedding, shower curtains, dec pillows, throws, etc.
• Keep up on key trends, social media and customers important to the group
  
  

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and provide support to Design Team across multiple categories as listed above
• Flexibility to juggle several projects at a time, while still meeting deadlines
• Prepare design presentations and prep for sales meetings
• Create tech packs/specs based on design direction
• Communicate with overseas offices and/or mills to regarding product developments
• Review and comment on submits to overseas
