Job Summary:
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for managing inventory operations and staff within the warehouse. This role ensures the efficient stocking and organization of inventory, optimizing warehouse space and maintaining accurate records to support operational efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Implement efficient inventory placement strategies to maximize warehouse space utilization.
- Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Staff Supervision:
- Supervise and guide inventory staff to ensure smooth operations and adherence to policies.
- Provide training and support to team members as needed.
- Essential Duties:
- Assign tasks to warehouse employees.
- Perform inventory adjustments.
- Assist with shortages throughout all departments.
- Collaborate with team leads on inventory and order needs.
- Monitor staff efficiency and review their audits.
- Perform mass inventory uploads.
- Track pick efficiency and sales performance.
- Oversee project progress and completion.
- Conduct plant walkthroughs to identify and address inventory and operational concerns.
- Monitor forecasts for new styles, ensuring readiness for upcoming inventory needs.
- Analyze sales and profitability data for replenishment planning.
- Monitor incoming container inventory for accuracy and timeliness.
- Miscellaneous Tasks:
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
- Manage direct inventory placement.
- Handle unexpected inventory searches and discrepancies.
- Train new hires on inventory procedures and systems.
- Cross-train in receiving container shipments to support team flexibility.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Logistics/Inventory Manager to align inventory strategies with business goals.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy and timely availability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
