Job Description
This opportunity involves working as a hospitalist in Iowa, caring for patients with various medical conditions. The workload includes managing 4 patients per day and night, with an average of 1 admit per day. You will be responsible for performing central lines, intubations, LP, paracentesis, and codes, among other tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Board certification or board eligibility in hospital medicine (BC or BE)
- Adequate ACLS, ATLS, NRP, and PALS training
- Ability to manage 4 patients per day and night, with an average of 1 admit per day
- Experience with central lines, intubations, LP, paracentesis, and codes
- Credentialing and privileging requirements met
- DEA license obtained
