Keeping healthcare healthy can be as fun as it is rewarding." Our engineering department is currently seeking enthusiastic software engineering students to participate in our summer internship program.
The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong interest in contributing to a highly collaborative team environment, is a self-starter and is eager to learn. As an intern at CHG, you'll work side-by-side with top engineers in the healthcare staffing industry.
You will also be assigned an experienced mentor who will be available for questions and guidance in completing assigned projects. The CHG IT internship is currently scheduled for the summer semester; however, it could be extended depending on business need. Responsibilities :
- Design, build, test and deploy new applications, in partnership with your mentor
- Participate in maintaining and improving test automation standards and automation frameworks as needed with the assistance and guidance of your mentor.
- Participate in testing and code reviews, while receiving and providing feedback as needed
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies
- Learn team applications and processes
- Participate in maintenance, enhancing, and testing of existing applications, with direction from your mentor
- Help evaluate manual test cases to convert into automated test cases
- Get acquainted with and integrate with your assigned team / teammates Qualifications :
- Able to work a hybrid schedule at CHG's corporate facility in Midvale, Utah
- Strong desire to learn and grow in your information technology skillset
- Interested in learning about and pursuing a career in software development or software quality engineering in a large-scale environment
- Team player, with a willingness to support and assist your teammates anyway you can
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent and timely follow-up on commitments and projects
- Flexibility and ability to switch tasks quickly when necessary
- Experience in an Object-Oriented programming language including Java, or JavaScript Education Requirements :
- Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related major
- Must be enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a college or university program or a recent graduate

For this position, we offer a pay of $25.00 / hour. CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base commission bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses.
Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses.
On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually. In return, we offer :
