Utility Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Utility Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing various tasks related to maintenance, support, and utility services. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain utility equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Utilize an Ohmmeter to test electrical circuits and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment for various operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Report any malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a utility or maintenance role is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with using an Ohmmeter is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects when necessary.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment at all times.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
