We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items with precision and care.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and quality are met.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and ingredients.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing and sales tracking effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with cash registers, cash handling, and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
