Job Description: CHI Consulting Engineers is seeking an experienced Senior Bridge Engineer to join our team of engineering experts. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing bridge engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and timely delivery of projects. As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will be responsible for technical leadership, mentoring junior staff, and client liaison.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage bridge engineering projects from conception to completion
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Conduct site visits and perform structural assessments
• Prepare reports, designs, and specifications
• Review and approve project deliverables

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required; Master's or PhD’s degree preferred
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge engineering design and analysis
• Strong technical skills in bridge design, analysis, and construction
• Experience managing projects and leading project teams
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
• Experience with structural analysis software such as SAP2000, CsiBridge or MIDAS
• Proficient in 2D and 3D CADD programs, such as AUTOCAD, REVIT, MicroStation, etc.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as AASHTO, ACI, and ASCE
