Director of Communications

Location: Remote (Work from home, with occasional travel as needed)

Reports to: Vice President, Marketing & Communications

CHI Living Communities is seeking a Director of Communications to lead and enhance our internal and external communications. This role plays a vital part in shaping our public image, strengthening brand reputation, and engaging key audiences, including residents, families, employees, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies.
• Manage media relations, press releases, and public statements.
• Oversee website content, social media platforms, and newsletters.
• Handle crisis communications and sensitive messaging.
• Collaborate with HR to improve employee engagement and communication.
• Ensure brand consistency across all channels.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experience: 7-10 years in corporate communications (healthcare/senior living preferred).
• Skills: Strong writing, media relations, crisis management, and digital communication expertise.
