What are the responsibilities and job description for the FOH Supervisor position at CHI MAC?
Chi Mac in Seattle, WA is looking for one FoH supervisor to join our strong team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.
Primary responsibilities but not limited to:
- Ensure customer satisfaction while performing duties
- Delegate tasks to team and provide follow-up
- Proactively assist fellow staff members
- Ensure team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service
- Ensure product quality, restaurant cleanliness, maintenance and security standards are me
- Supporting role for servers on shift (hosting, bussing, checking on tables when needed);
- Checking off on all front of house (“FOH”) checklist and ensuring that all duties / chores are being done;
- Checking and ordering FOH inventory to ensure that we do not run out of stock on inventory;
- Interviewing / Hiring / Training new FOH team members;
- Ensuring food coming from the kitchen is up to standard and to customer specifications;
- Attending to waiting customers / delivery drivers;
- Acknowledging & greeting customers that walk in and are waiting;
- Ability to make decisions regarding customer issues, employee issues, cutting servers when it is slow, etc.;
- Scheduling all FOH employees;
Preferred qualifications
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Previous experience in a management role
- 2-3 years in hospitality
Wage (DOE) - $18-20/HR
