The VP Patient Care Services drives excellence in nursing practice and patient care through strategic data management, organizational planning, and resource administration. The position fosters an inclusive environment, integrates research, ensures regulatory compliance, and manages team performance to achieve optimal outcomes aligned with CommonSpirit Health's mission and values as follows:
Data Management & Analysis: Develops and maintains data systems to support nursing practice, patient care, and informed decision-making.- Strategic Planning & Quality Improvement: Leads organizational planning for nursing care delivery, monitors quality and effectiveness, and implements adjustments for consistent performance.
- Inclusive Leadership & Collaboration: Fosters a professional, diverse, and inclusive environment while collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Research Integration: Supports and integrates research into nursing care and administration.
- Resource Management: Evaluates and administers human and fiscal resources, including staffing allocation and shared governance.
- Performance Management: Manages team member performance, including goal setting, feedback, development, and addressing performance issues.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensures adherence to safety, security, and infection control policies and evaluates performance against professional standards.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Required Master’s or Post Graduate Degree
- Active RN license in the state of North Dakota or nurse license compact (license must be in state of residence)
- Strong knowledge/application of nursing practice and systems framework.
- Excellent strategic thinking skills, demonstrated resource management and stewardship skills, strong abilities in total quality management and continuous quality improvement concepts.
- Strong team orientation, strong customer-focus, demonstrated ability to lead/implement change activities, demonstrated skills in influencing through relationships.
- Excellent analytical thinking skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Pay Range
$59.53 - $83.34 /hour
