Responsibilities
Job Summary / Purpose
Supervises, instructs, and evaluates Respiratory Care technical staff members, assists the Director in the overall management of the Respiratory Care Department, provides direct patient care as needed. Working Relationships: Respiratory Care Supervisors are responsible to the Director of Respiratory Care, and supervise the Respiratory Care Practitioners. They are in daily contact with subordinates, co-workers, patients, and other medical staff and physicians.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs., sit, walk, stand extensively and be able to perform fine and gross motor skills. Physical coordination, mobility, verbal articulation, vision, and learning must be easily performed.
- May be exposed to blood, body tissue and fluids regularly, as well as other hazardous waste materials. Must be able to tolerate environmental temperature fluctuations.
- May be exposed to radiation, toxins, dust, cytotoxins, and/or poisonous substances. May be exposed, periodically to physical injury, burns, noise, and some electrical hazards.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 1 year experience in the discipline OR 3 years’ experience in the discipline OR Master’s Degree and no experience
Preferred Education and Experience
At least 5 years clinical experience preferred.
Required Licensure and Certifications
RESP-LIC:KY RRT
Pay Range
$31.92 - $46.29 /hour
Salary : $32 - $46
