In-House Economic Analyst (law firm) - base salary up to $115,000 discretionary bonus -

US (NYC, D.C., or San Francisco)


Chi Square Economics is partnering with an employment law firm which is looking for an Economic Analyst/ Data Analyst, with consulting and data handling experience to join its growing team. The team provides expert advice on litigation and labor and employment economics, such as damages, wage & hour violations, discrimination and more. Due to the on-going growth, the team is now keen to hire an analyst to support them with their growing division in the firm.


Role


You will be a key member of the in-house consulting team, working on predominantly economics and finance cases with a focus on labor, data analysis, financial, and litigation. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of leading experts in this space, which will help you develop into becoming a future go-to person in the labor and employment space.


To be eligible for this role, you must have:


  • A bachelor’s in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Applied Economics or similar (with an economics aspect)
  • Proven experience working in an economic consultancy (this is a must)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand, analyse, and present data to a non-technical audience
  • Familiarity with datasets such as SQL, SharePoint, and/or Oracle is a plus
  • Prior experience working on litigation cases
  • Confidence to take full ownership of projects
  • You must have the right to work in the US (visa sponsorship is not available)
