Job Description
Job Title : Radiologic Technologist
Job Specialty : Interventional Radiology (IR Tech)
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 8-hour Days, plus on-call requirements (36-hour weekly minimum, scheduled for five 8-hour shifts)
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : Minimum of 1 year
License : Required
Certifications : ARRT, BLS
Must-Have : Scrubbing experience
Job Description :
- Manage panning and scrubbing responsibilities within the IR lab.
- Assist with procedures such as Stroke Thrombectomy, Embolizations, line placements, and more.
- Work in a team environment in a department with 2 labs handling 5-10 cases daily.
- Provide care to a range of patients, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergencies.
- Ensure radiation safety by supplying and wearing a radiation badge.
- Collaborate with a team lead and supervisor for daily operations and timecard management.
- Utilize EPIC charting systems and equipment like Philips Xper and Siemens C-Arm.
- Follow a rotating call schedule, available every third weekend and 1-2 days per week.
- Be ready to respond to calls within 30 minutes during on-call shifts.
- Participate in a one-week orientation program, including both classroom and lab experiences.
- Maintain compliance with the dress code and bring designated hospital shoes and a lock for lockers.
- Adhere to requirements for floating to radiology pre / post procedures when necessary.
- Submit any required time-off requests upfront, noting that additional requests may not be approved.
