Job Description

Job Title : Radiologic Technologist

Job Specialty : CT Technologist

Job Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : 12H Nights - 7 PM to 7 AM, weekends as needed, first to float, every other holiday

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : Yes, required

Certifications :

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Verification
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Verification

Must-Have : Compliance with CME requirements for CT or ARRT (CT)

Job Description :

  • Conduct imaging for adults and pediatrics including strokes, STEMIs, trauma, abdominal pain, head injuries, kidney stones, and CTA.
  • Handle a high volume of outpatient CTs scheduled from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
  • Operate Philips 128 slice primary, Philips 16 slice backup, and Bracco injectors.
  • Utilize PACS and Centralized Response Team Inquire System (CRTIS) for document management.
  • Cover x-ray duties after hours from 11 : 30 PM to 7 AM unless there is a high volume of CTs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent teamwork.
  • Participate in a team scheduling environment with shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM.
  • Meet weekend requirements, which vary depending on the schedule.
  • Follow the holiday shift requirement of working every other holiday.
  • Complete orientation that consists of three 12-hour shifts specific to the department.
  • Note that there is no in-house radiologist and Registered Radiology Assistants are not used.
