Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Entry of hospital based and office based demographics/charges into EPM.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for correctly entering hospital and office charges in a timely manner.
- Review charges for correct information and inform management if patterns or discrepancies are found.
- Correctly identify charges that need modifiers based on guidelines, and coordinate with coder to correctly input charges.
- Complete error report at the end of each month to ensure correct billing.
- Data entry of demographics to ensure correct billing.
- Working knowledge of various hospital systems for obtaining demographics.
- Review and audit various logs.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of data entry experience.
$15.00 - $20.33 /hour
