We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Engineering Network Specialist to join our innovative team. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care by ensuring the seamless operation of our critical medical equipment and IT infrastructure. This position will require travel greater than 50% across Colorado and Eastern Kansas.
As our Clinical Engineering Network Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of our Clinical Engineering IT environment. This is a hands-on role requiring expertise in both biomedical equipment repair and network technologies. Your responsibilities will include:

As our Clinical Engineering Network Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of our Clinical Engineering IT environment. This is a hands-on role requiring expertise in both biomedical equipment repair and network technologies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Specialized Repair & Maintenance: Providing expert repair and maintenance services for biomedical equipment, radiology, and clinical engineering network devices.
- IT Infrastructure Support: Troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues, proactively monitoring network performance, and developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
- Security & Compliance: Ensuring the security and HIPAA/HITECH compliance of our medical equipment and IT systems.
- Project Leadership: Leading and coordinating efforts for medical device patching, firmware updates, and product evaluations.
- Technical Consulting: Providing technical expertise and consulting services to other IT personnel and various hospital departments.
- Strategic Planning: Assisting in the planning and design of future Clinical Engineering IT equipment and solutions.
- After-Hours Support: Providing on-call support as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Network Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Advanced knowledge of information networking principles and best practices is essential.
- Minimum of six to eight years of related clinical engineering experience, OR minimum of two years in Clinical Engineering with a Network certification or similar and four years of network experience (any field).
- Proven experience with HIPAA/HITECH compliance standards.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Preferred: A , Network , CRES, and/or CBET
