Responsibilities
Registered Nurse in the State of Arkansas
CIC Certification within 2 years of employment.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
Five years related hospital experience; experience in Infection Prevention preferred.

Pay Range
$34.46 - $45.58 /hour

Responsibilities
- Reviews cultures reports, medical reports and census reports regarding hospital-acquired, as defined by governing bodies, and non hospital-acquired infections.
- Assists in review of data for trends and problems concerning infection control.
- Assists with the OSHA Exposure Control Plan, Disease Specific Manual and other system policies concerning infection control as required.
- Presents in-services to all hospital staff covering OSHA, multi-drug resistant isolates and emerging pathogens.
- Assists with walk through in concern with infection control at various facilities connected with SVI at the request of that facility or Administration and gives feed back to facility
