Responsibilities
The Market Director of Oncology Services is responsible to the Market CEO for the overall administration and success of Oncology Services within CHI Saint Joseph Health. This person is responsible for planning, directing and evaluating the provision of a standardized delivery of clinical services for the assigned CHI Saint Joseph Health oncology service line in accordance with the professional standards of the clinical disciplines, applicable regulatory requirements and business / patient care objectives of the organization. An incumbent provides strategic leadership in assessing, developing and implementing initiatives / activities which improve financial performance / productivity, maximize effective utilization of resources, enhance patient outcomes / service satisfaction of all identified customer groups and generate a competitive advantage. An incumbent works in close collaboration with the CHI Saint Joseph Health Medical Group and other regional departments / services lines with respect to business plan development and to coordinate services across the care continuum.
