Overview
As the Critical Care Director of Nursing at CHI Saint Joseph Hospital, you will help ensure our patients receive the highest quality care and experience while prioritizing our team members safety and satisfaction. To be successful in this role, y ou will communicate the organization's goals to nursing staff as we constantly seek to improve patient experiences, reach out to our community, and deliver quality care. At the same time, you will be an advocate for your team by bringing any issues, requests, or new ideas to the table.
Every day you will lead a clinical team of nurse managers who inspire our staff to take pride in the quality of care we provide to our patients. You will have oversight of regulatory compliance, staffing, and fiscal responsibility. To thrive in this role, you must be competent and confident. Utilizing your excellent communication skills one-on-one and in front of groups, you will tackle tough conversations and, above all, be an educator at heart. Every interaction is an opportunity to share your knowledge with others and improve their understanding of a patient's needs, the nursing staff's, or the organization's needs.
