The Registered Nurse – Specialty Clinic provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed clinician. This role supports patient care in a community health setting by assisting providers, educating patients and families, and ensuring efficient clinic operations. The RN performs clinical duties with professionalism and minimal supervision.

Job Summary / Job Purpose
The Registered Nurse – Specialty Clinic provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed clinician. This role supports patient care in a community health setting by assisting providers, educating patients and families, and ensuring efficient clinic operations. The RN performs clinical duties with professionalism and minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patient flow and assist in maintaining efficient clinic operations.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient care needs.
- Assess and triage patients to the appropriate department within the clinic.
- Obtain and document accurate health histories, including medication reconciliation.
- Administer medications via oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal, and IV routes following nursing policies and procedures.
- Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens for diagnostic testing.
- Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, medications, and health management.
- Assist with procedures as directed by the provider.
- Maintain clinical competencies and adhere to quality and safety standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements / Qualifications
Education / Accreditation / Licensure (Required & Preferred):
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred).
- Current and valid RN license from the state licensing board (required).
- Additional specialty certifications (may be required based on the clinic specialty).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required).
- 2 years of nursing experience in a specialty clinic (e.g., OBGYN, cardiology, orthopedics) (required).
- Experience in a clinical outpatient setting (preferred).
$25.18 - $36.52 /hour
Salary : $25 - $37
