What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server Assistant/Busser position at Chianti Restaurant?
Before Lunch/Dinner Shifts:
- Turn on Oven and Bread Warmer to specified temps
- Brew Coffee and Tea
- Turn on Espresso Machine and fill with water
- Vacuum all carpeted and rug areas in dining room
- Sweep foyer and bar area as needed
- Water Plants at entrance
- Cut lemons as needed
- Setup butter chip trays as needed
- Fill up ice bin at busser and bar area
- Have bread, coffee, and tea ready for service
During Lunch/Dinner Shifts:
- Pour water for guests upon arrival
- Bring out bread to guests after drink/app orders
- Maintain a good level of warm bread for service
- Assure guests with water and tea have full glasses during their dining
- Assist Servers with minor requests as needed
- Clear table tops of glasses, silverware, and tablecloth after guests leave
- Check under tables for dropped silverware, napkins, or lost items
- Clean any dropped food or bits of paper under tables
- Wipe off seat cushions of any bread crumbs
- Place a fresh tablecloth on table after it has been properly checked and cleaned
After Lunch/Dinner Shifts:
- Wipe down server area of any spilt liquids, food, and bread crumbs
- Remove any excess cups and plates no longer in use
- Wipe down espresso machine of any spillage
- Dump coffee pots (and tea after dinner)
- Turn off coffee, tea, and espresso machines
- Turn off oven and bread warmer
- Take out trash bags and replace with new at server and bar area as needed
- Dump water buckets under sinks
- Stow away butter chips
- Sweep server area of any bread crumbs by bread warmer and trash cans

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
