Chiaravalle Montessori is looking for energetic, enthusiastic and motivated educators to make a commitment to our school, kids and community for the school year 2025-2026. We have one (1) full time 8:30am - 4:30pm and (1) part time 12pm - 5:30pm Assistant Teacher openings in our Toddler program (16mths - 36mths). Our Toddler classrooms typically have one (1) Head Teacher and two (2) Assistant Teachers (depending on the class size). The positions are scheduled from Mondays - Fridays. Part Time employees qualify for limited benefit coverage (dental, 403 (b) retirement, flexible spending account, short term disability, life and AD&D insurance.
THE POSITION
Under the direction of the Program Coordinator and with the guidance of the Head Teacher, the Assistant Teacher provides support for children by assisting them academically, socially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually in a manner that fosters the overall development and well-being of each child in accordance with the curriculum and Montessori philosophy. You will assist in preparing and maintaining an orderly learning environment well-equipped with the appropriate materials and supplies. You will also supervise the children as directed inside and outside the classroom, during transitions which may include lunchtime, naptime, recess, and others as scheduled.
