Job Summary:
We are looking for an Inventory Control Associate to manage and maintain the flow of materials, products, and supplies in our manufacturing facility. This role requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of inventory management practices. The ideal candidate will ensure that all materials are readily available for production and help keep track of inventory levels to meet demand and prevent overstocking.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, components, and finished products.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
- Track inventory movement in and out of the warehouse.
- Prepare materials for production by ensuring timely delivery of required items to assembly lines.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to restock materials as needed.
- Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the inventory area.
- Operate and maintain inventory management software.
- Monitor stock levels and identify when reordering is necessary.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with stocktaking and order fulfillment as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or issues in inventory levels to the management team.
- Assist in ensuring proper safety procedures are followed in the warehouse area.
Essential Qualifications:
- Full-time availability (35-40 hours per week) (Required)
- Essential Qualities: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to adapt to changing processes, and mindfulness to ensure safety and productivity.
- Previous manufacturing experience (Preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs regularly (Preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- US work authorization (Preferred)
- Experience in inventory management, stock control, or warehousing (Preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Work Schedule:
- 8-hour shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Overtime may be available
