Job Details
Role: Reservationist
Reporting to: Restaurant Manager
The Restaurant Reservationist is responsible for taking and confirming reservations, directing calls appropriately, and delivering the highest levels of customer service.
Job Scope
Accountable for taking reservations for restaurant
Increase the occupancy and average spending of the Restaurant
Maximize the use of table inventory
Resolves customer requests and questions
Respond to any guest concerns and ensure solutions are in the best interest of the guest and the restaurant.
To inform managers of any complaints/comments / perceived issues.
Motivate and exceed guest expectations.
Continuous communication with the FOH manager to discuss and relay any changes and special requests for guests
Ensure consistent reporting to senior management.
Report, analyze, and drive business to ensure consistently busy days and services.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years of professional experience
Expert knowledge of guest information reservation system
Must possess excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong sales, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word)
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Multi-lingual a plus
Professional appearance and demeanor
Able to work flexible hours necessary including off hours, weekends, and holidays.
Working conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat from the stoves and burners.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
