Social Media Associate
Position Overview:
The Windy City Bulls are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and dedicated individual to be our Social Media Associate for the 2023-24 season. The individual that fills this role will be responsible for supporting and assisting in the oversight of planning, organizing, and executing all social media and digital content responsibilities and activities. We are seeking an individual who is an excellent teammate and willing to assist wherever they are needed, including other departments in the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and execution of a robust social media marketing plan.
- Assist in capturing content for social media channels at practice and games.
- Assist in clipping video highlights during games.
- Assist in the development and activation of social media content.
- Actively participate in editing video and other content for digital media platforms.
- On gamedays, work with the team photographer to ensure all vital photos are taken and archived.
Qualifications:
- Current college student or recent college graduate.
- A strong interest and knowledge of the game of basketball.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and video editing software programs.
- Proficiency in Clipro.
- Excellent teammate who has a desire to learn.
- Positive demeanor and strong work ethic.
- Highly organized and strong time leadership skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work quickly in a dynamic, collaborative workplace.
This opportunity will start in early January and continue through March, or the conclusion of the 2023-24 team regular season. The position requires flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
