High School English Teacher

English Position Profile:

The preferred candidate will be able to:

• Share and articulate their faith in a way that helps promote the spiritual development of students.
• Use strong pedagogical methods to help expand our students’ knowledge in reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills.
• Balance the need for discipleship and academic excellence within each English course.
• Use technology effectively and meaningfully in the classroom.
• Understand how to teach purposefully in an extended class period.
• Design a coherent, purposeful, and engaging curriculum that clearly aligns to standards.
• Provide an appropriate academic challenge and demonstrate an ability to differentiate in the classroom to reach all students.
• Be able to incorporate a Standards Based Learning approach to grading.
• Have the desire to collaborate in a professional learning community.

-Honors Intro to Lit (Freshmen)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,229.00 - $62,158.00 per year
