For the 2025-2026 school year, we plan to employ approximately 48 staff members and serve approximately 350 students. In our first senior class in the spring of 2021, 100% of our graduates were admitted to over 200 universities, earning over 3.6 million dollars in merit scholarships.

Responsibilities
Ensure all students make significant academic progress and learn the academic skills, possess the intellectual habits, and demonstrate the character traits needed to succeed in college, lead in their communities, and change the world.
Exemplify and demonstrate Excellence in a variety of areas, by:
- Developing long-term, unit, and daily lesson plans, based on the Chicago Collegiate standards, that are exciting, rigorous, and aligned to standards and differentiate instruction based on the diverse and individual needs of all students
- Developing and maintaining a classroom that exemplifies high academic and behavioral expectations and has a safe, loving, demanding culture
- Developing and administering a variety of assessments to measure student growth towards goals and tracking student mastery of content standards and exit requirements
Exemplify and demonstrate Integrity in a variety of areas, by:
- Demonstrating profound personal responsibility and taking total ownership for both the growth and absolute achievement of all students

Requirements
- Hold at least a Bachelor's degree and major/minor in a Science field. (This role will be asked to teach two subjects within the Science field - e.g. Biology and Chemistry.)
- Demonstrate success in raising the achievement levels of traditionally underserved students, particularly in urban schools.
- Have an unwavering belief that all students can achieve at the highest academic levels, regardless of demographics.
- Operate with a strong work ethic and a passion for being part of a team-oriented, mission -driven school culture.
- Ability to be solutions oriented and approach each day with a sense of possibility.
- Desire to become a better teacher by joining the Chicago Collegiate family.
- Develop daily, unit and long-term lesson plans and assessments and assist in the development of curriculum standards and mapping.
- Teach students in a high quality, engaging way, while also creating and fostering a culture of achievement and community.
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Continuously assess student progress, analyze data, and differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs and maximize learning.

SALARY & BENEFITS
Salary range for this position is $50,000-$85,000 per year and depends on years of relevant experience, history of achieving measurable results, and other qualifications such as certifications/advanced degrees. The full compensation package includes medical/dental/vision, PTO and vacation time, and other benefits.
