Dental Hygienist
Our dental clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dental hygiene services to our patients, teaching them how to maintain proper oral hygiene, and promoting preventive care.
Responsibilities
Conducting thorough dental cleanings and periodontal services for patients.
Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing and flossing.
Performing appropriate preventive services, such as fluoride treatments and sealants.
Assisting the dentist during procedures and treatments.
Documenting patient care and treatment plans in dental records.
Maintaining proper infection control procedures, including sterilization of dental instruments and disinfection of dental equipment.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm included extended hours once per week Noon - 8:00pm with a Saturday Rotation 8:00am - 1:00pm

Requirements
Education and Experience
Active State of Illinois Registered Dental Hygienist license.
a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist.
Current CPR (BLS) Certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Knowledge of dental instruments and equipment.
Proficient in dental charting and patient record keeping.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with patients and other members of the care team.
Comfort working in a medical setting as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Strong communication and business acumen.
Ability to work independently and to seek consultation as necessary.
Ability to follow organization and departmental processes and procedures.
Ability to work in a high stress/fast paced/high work volume environment.
