Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Medicine Physician to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. As an Internal Medicine Physician, you will provide ongoing comprehensive primary care to our patients. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. Requirements: Education and Experience M.D. or D.O. degree from accredited school of allopathic or osteopathic medicine Board-certified or Board-eligible in Internal Medicine or another approved specialty. Current and valid Illinois license as a physician and surgeon Current and valid DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate Eligible for, or maintenance of, hospital privileges at affiliated hospitals Bilingual ability may or may not be required based on individual department needs. COVID-19 vaccine documentation is required for all employees. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting. Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with patients and other members of the care team. Comfort working in a medical setting as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Ability to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in area of expertise Experience in working with a diverse population base preferred. Ability to appropriately handle confrontation and conflict. Ability to work independently and to seek consultation as necessary. Ability to follow organization and departmental processes and procedures. Ability to work in a high stress/fast paced/high work volume environment.
