This critical role offers the opportunity to support regulatory reporting processes, engage with regulators, auditors, and examiners, and ensure the accurate submission of financial reports. Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in alignment with applicable laws and standards.
• Regulator Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for regulators, addressing inquiries, providing documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Audit and Examination Support: Collaborate with external auditors and examiners during reviews and audits, providing requested data and ensuring full compliance with guidelines.
• Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and submission of financial statements and related reports, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory expectations.
• Compliance Monitoring: Stay current on evolving regulatory requirements and accounting standards, ensuring that all reporting processes adhere to updated guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in regulatory reporting or accounting within the financial services industry
• Knowledge of the futures market.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting or financial reporting software.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks and financial reporting standards.
• Experience working with regulators, external auditors, and examiners, with a proven ability to manage audits and examinations effectively.
• This is a hybrid position working part of the week at the client’s Chicago office.
