About the Position
We are seeking a qualified Learning Facilitator to join our team at Chicago Heights School. As a Learning Facilitator, you will work closely with a student on a regular basis, providing support and assistance to help them reach their academic and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the assigned student with self-help and self-care skills, such as moving from room to room, using the lavatory, and toileting assistance.
- Perform simple errands and tasks for the student, such as sharpening pencils, carrying lunch trays, etc.
- Accompany the student to the office or to other areas of the building if appropriate.
Working Conditions
You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and must be able to adapt to changing circumstances. You will also be required to communicate effectively with teachers, other support staff, and parents/caregivers.
