The Project Manager will play a key role in managing complex IT initiatives that support CHA's strategic goals. This is a hybrid role, requiring the candidate to work in the office three days a week. This position reports directly to the Manager of the Project Management Office and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful technology solutions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage complex IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Utilize hybrid project management methodologies, effectively combining Agile and Waterfall approaches based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with Business Solutions Analysts to gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements.
- Facilitate the creation of project deliverables, such as mockups, wireframes, user stories, test cases, and deployment plans.
- Lead the implementation of various IT solutions, including custom software development, data migrations, software applications, and infrastructure projects, while coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the process.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, recommending solutions to address challenges.
- Present project updates, risks, and deliverables to executive staff and other key stakeholders.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Monitor compliance with IT security standards, policies, and procedures.
- Create and maintain high-quality project documentation, including charters, plans, and status reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum of seven (7) years managing IT Projects of varying sizes and complexities. Proven experience in ERP implementations, process improvement, custom software development, data migrations and IT infrastructure projects. PMP certification preferred; additional Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Agilist) preferred. Familiarity with Power BI and Yardi is a plus. Experience in government sector workflows is highly preferred. Proficiency with project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and Azure DevOps. Strong analytical skills with experience supporting Business Solutions Analysts in refining requirements. Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Power BI. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders and executive staff. Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to handle high-stress environments with constant changes and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced, integrated team environment. Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
