What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Planner position at Chicago Importing Company?
Previous experience: CPG industry ideal, medical, pharma, auto
- Conduct weekly supply plans for Domestic & Co-Pack suppliers
- Plan and manage inventory levels to support forecasted demand
- Develop effective inventory planning models.
- Issue PO’s to suppliers to support supply plans
- Oversee and manage the timing of deliveries.
- Maintain and optimize stock levels
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operations for new item launches and transitions
- Monitor material availability.
- Plan & create manufacturing work orders.
- Anticipate demand and monitor stock levels.
- Manage the overall flow of goods within the organization
- Track & trace orders (PO’s) with suppliers accurately and timely, and communicate with suppliers to ensure they ship as requested, and update statuses in NetSuite
- Manage outbound private label co-pack items which include processing work orders, transfer orders, creating packing lists, shipping of materials in NetSuite
- Process assembly builds, inventory transfers, create pallet tags and item releases in NetSuite
- Receive POs & monitor invoice discrepancies
- Create and/or update items in NetSuite, including all item specs
- Create and/or update supplier information in NetSuite
Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a supply planning or inventory management role where they obtained experience working with manufacturing operations or co-packer operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,430.00 per year
