Chicago Marriott Northwest, nestled in the northwest suburbs off I90 Toll Road and Route 59, just 30 minutes outside of Chicago. Our hotel is the perfect commute and work-home away from home base for suburban, urban and even farm country dwellers.

Busser - Key Responsibilities

As a Busser at our Chicago Marriott Northwest in Hoffman Estates, you will play a crucial role in creating a memorable first impression for our guests. Your engaging personality and exceptional customer service skills will contribute to our goal of providing guests with an unforgettable experience. Your key responsibilities will include:

Table Management:

• Clearing used plates, glasses, silverware, and napkins from tables.
• Resetting tables with clean linens, glassware, and silverware.
• Ensuring tables are clean and ready for the next guests.

Assisting Servers:

• Refilling water glasses and other beverages.
• Delivering food or drinks when servers are busy.
• Stocking condiment stands and busser stations with necessary supplies.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming the dining area.
• Cleaning tables, booths, and chairs.
• Removing trash and recycling.
• Polishing silverware and cleaning glasses.
• Maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

Other Duties:

• Greeting guests and escorting them to their tables.
• Assisting with setting up the dining room for service.
• Preparing the dining room for closing, such as cleaning chairs and tables.
• Assisting dishwashers with scraping, stacking, and loading dishes.
• Reporting any damages, shortages, or complaints to the manager.

Busser - Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and people skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
