Chicago Marriott Northwest, nestled in the northwest suburbs off I90 Toll Road and Route 59, just 30 minutes outside of Chicago. Our hotel is the perfect commute and work-home away from home base for suburban, urban and even farm country dwellers.

Dishwasher - Key Responsibilities

As a Dishwasher at our Chicago Marriott Northwest in Hoffman Estates, you will play a crucial role in creating a memorable first impression for our guests. Your engaging personality and exceptional customer service skills will contribute to our goal of providing guests with an unforgettable experience. Your key responsibilities will include:

Dishwashing:

• Loading and unloading the dishwasher.
• Washing dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware by hand or machine.
• Sorting and stacking clean dishes and utensils.
• Ensuring dishes are properly sanitized according to food safety standards.

Kitchen Cleanliness:

• Maintaining a clean and organized dishwashing area.
• Cleaning kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Wiping down counters and tables.
• Sweeping or mopping floors.
• Taking out trash and emptying garbage cans.

Other Tasks:

• Assisting with bussing tables.
• Helping to unload and store deliveries.
• Assisting other kitchen staff with tasks as needed.
• Stocking supplies.

Adherence to Standards:

• Following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Understanding and following instructions.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds several times a day
• Ability to place cases, pans, utensils and plates on both low and high shelves

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.00 - $15.00 per hour
