West Town Family Seeking Full-Time Nanny for Two Children

📍 Location: West Town, Chicago

🕒 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (45 hours guaranteed, flexibility required)

💰 Pay: $25-$30 per hour DOE PTO (Personal, Sick, Vacation, and Holiday Pay)

📅 Start Date: May 19, 2025

Wonderful West Town family looking for a reliable, kind, patient Full-Time Nanny to care for our toddler and baby. The ideal candidate has experience with infants and toddlers, enjoys planning fun and engaging activities, and is highly organized in managing daily childcare duties.

This position requires someone who is flexible, proactive, and enjoys working with a growing family. A nanny who loves creating a warm and stimulating environment, planning playdates, park outings, and hands-on learning activities, will be a great fit!

Responsibilities:

👶 Childcare Duties:

• Provide attentive, patient, and nurturing care for a toddler and baby.
• Encourage learning through fun activities, projects and play.
• Plan and coordinate fun playdates, park activities, and age-appropriate outings.
• Prepare bottles, meals, and snacks for baby and toddler, ensuring they are healthy, balanced, and age-appropriate.
• Manage children’s laundry (washing, folding, and putting away).
• Tidy up children’s spaces, clean up after meals, and load dish washer.
• Change diapers, assist with potty training when the time comes
• Assist with bedtime routine – set out pajamas, prepare the bedroom, and pick out next-day outfits.
• Prepare snacks, lunches (dinner if nanny is working late).
• Keep parents informed about the child’s day through text and phone calls as needed.
• Take children to scheduled activities within walking distance.
  
  

🚗 Additional Expectations:

• Clean and safe driving record (no driving required yet but may be needed in the future).
• Comfortable traveling with the family (preferred but not required).
• COVID vaccine preferred; TDAP and Flu vaccines required.
• The position offers guaranteed hours; however, the nanny should maintain flexibility with scheduling, as shifts may vary slightly, and additional hours may be required based on the parents' work schedules.
