PT Nanny - JC 0403 - Wilmette - 25 Hours/Week

• Three children: two 16-year-olds and an 11-year-old. All attend different schools and after-school activities.
• The 16-year-olds have developmental delays and sometimes require assistance and additional supervision more typical for a younger child.
• Primary responsibilities are picking up children from school in the afternoon, taking them to their after-school activities (sports, tutoring, etc.).
• One parent works from home often. Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement.
• The family has two cats. No care is required but Nanny should like cats and not be allergic.

• Extensive, verifiable Nannying experience. Should also have worked with older children (preteen and older).
• Experience in a special education setting or other work experience working with children with developmental or intellectual delays (volunteer work, teaching experience, past Nannying experience, etc.).
• Nanny is looking for a long-term commitment with a family.
• Nanny should be warm, caring, and patient. Will be able to foster a positive relationship with the children and the family.
• Nanny should be a self-starter and organized. Will be able to plan activities and keep track of children’s needs. Ability to take initiative, be proactive, and anticipate family's needs.
• Reliable, punctual, and communicative. Is open to feedback and comfortable giving it as well.
• Nanny should have a safe driving record. Will need to provide their own vehicle.
