Position Summary
The position is responsible for pattern making, attending fittings and implementing pattern corrections, and sewing design approval samples.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Pattern making and pattern corrections.
- Develop and execute patterns from sketches and tech packs handed off by Design that reflect fit, design, material, and spec requirements.
- Collaborate with the Design Director to create block patterns for all product groups.
- Create first fit samples for review by Design.
- Attend fittings with Design, take pattern correction notes, and execute corrections on pattern.
- Work with the Production team to ensure that Design-approved sample / pattern is followed for design, fit, quality, and specification.
- Review outside supplier patterns to ensure accuracy. Attend fitting of outside supplier samples and advise supplier of pattern corrections needed (to be included in Design fit report)
