Job Summary
Under the direction of the Asset Manager and Asset Management Coordinator in the Office of Accounting, the Asset Management Intern will assist with the Asset Management team on assigned Central Office and school inventory requests. The Asset Management team assists with required fillings, tracks and manages all CPS assets, conducts training to schools / system users, and reviews and recommends sectional policies and procedures.
The Asset Management Intern will be held accountable for the following responsibilities :
Typical Duties / Responsibilities :
- Work with schools and CPS departments to complete the annual fixed asset inventory
- Prepare and review fixed asset inventory reports
- Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries
- Perform site visits to schools and Central Office locations to tag and label assets (computers, laptops, etc.
- Other duties assigned
