What are the responsibilities and job description for the Educational Support Professional position at Chicago Public Schools?
You will conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and participate in multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality educational support. Additionally, you will provide consultation to teachers, parents, and staff, as well as participate in required Domain, Problem Solving, FIE, and Annual Review meetings as needed.
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will also provide therapeutic services to eligible students using a continuum of service delivery models, provide diagnostic assessment services to students using established eligibility and exit criteria, and develop and implement IEPs utilizing an educationally-based model with goals aligned to educational standards.
