Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with a wide range of speech–language-related issues, and will be able to provide diagnostic assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and participate in multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing speech and language diagnostic and therapeutic services to students
- Collaborating with parents and school support staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Participating as a multidisciplinary team member to support student learning and achievement
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree in communication disorders or speech pathology from an accredited University or College program
- A valid license or credential issued by the state licensing board, with the appropriate endorsement(s) for the role
- Willingness to travel to multiple school locations as a citywide speech-language pathologist as needed
