Position Summary
The Chicago Stars Youth Soccer Camp Coaches are vital to the Community and Camps department's programming. The Chicago Stars host camps and clinics throughout the year in and around the greater Chicagoland area, most of which occur during the summer months. These camps help to develop young female soccer players, inspire those athletes, and grow interest in the NWSL and women’s soccer. Camps and attendees range from beginner to advanced and can also focus on specific skills or positions. The Chicago Stars Soccer Camps are for participants aged 7-14 years old and play an integral part in the interest and development of soccer players and fans.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach age / skill level-appropriate training sessions
- Run and implement training sessions with exercises ranging from individual skill work to small-sided activities to scrimmages
- Ensure and create a fun, safe, and challenging environment
- Provide individual and group feedback throughout camps
- Implement curriculum in training sessions with and without the Camp Director's supervision
- Always maintain highest standards of professionalism as a contractor for the club and its affiliates
